The Transition from School to Work Program wants to ensure students become as self-sufficient as possible and become contributing members of their communities with the same opportunities as their peers.

The goal of the Transition from School to Work Program is to create a seamless transition for students who require diverse and intensive supports to transition from school to post-secondary education or employment

Our Program

• We vide an enhanced employment service to students who face barriers and challenges to effective career development, employment, and employment maintenance;

• Will assist students in gaining life skills, personal management skills, and career skills, to support their successful transition from school to post-secondary education or employment;

• Provides services to students based upon their individual needs, skills, and interests.

• Vocational counseling and career exploration;

• Job readiness supports including: problem solving, life skills, and social skills training;

• Job search support, resume and interview preparation;

• Connection to available community resources and labour market information;

• Job marketing, job shadowing or work experiences to secure student labour market attachment;

• Job coaching and employment maintenance services;

• Preparing for post-secondary education and exploring funding options.
